Dr. Jamie Archer Bennett
In 1990 Dr. Jamie Archer Bennett assumed the Optometric Practice of Dr. Wesley Gifford, who had been in Bartlesville for over 40 years.. She offers speciality contact lens services for irregular corneas and high amounts of astigmatism. Dr Bennett’s practice has become focused on treating “Dry Eye Syndrome” with the latest equipment for diagnosing and treating the root causes of dry eyes.
In 1993 Dr. Bennett was selected as the Oklahoma Young Optometrist of the year and has served on numerous State Optometric panels and committees. She is current on the latest treatment options and techniques, and is able to recognize, treat, or refer most ocular conditions.
Dr. Bennett is active in the community, serving on the Board of Directors of the Bartlesville Development Authority, Bartlesville Community Foundation, past-President of the Elder Care Board, past-President of the Pilot Club, and Honoree for the Westside Community Center. She is an active member of Disciples Christian Church. She has 2 grown children and a wonderful husband.
Karlee
Karlee was born and raised in Bartlesville and graduated from Copan High School. Karlee is usually the first team member you will meet as you walk into our office. Her favorite thing about her job is talking to patients to make them feel comfortable. When not at work Karlee enjoys rides on their Harley and spending time with her family.
Amy
Amy has been an optician since 2018. She is super knowledgeable about lens options and lifestyle eyewear. She really loves to help patients find a pair of glasses that they love. She is also great at adjusting your frames so that they fit like a glove. She has 3 kids and a dog. She is the ultimate “sports mom” attending all the games and activities her kids participate in. Amy thinks you need some really cool sunglasses.
Lyndsey
Lyndsey is the Billing/Insurance Specialist here at Bennett Vision. She enjoys the opportunity to help people understand what they are paying for and how their insurance can benefit them ( all with a big smile!). Lyndsey is the animated team member that you will usually find at the check-out desk. She is fueled by coffee, red bull, Dr. Pepper and lots of snacks. She has a family of 4 along with 3 fur babies (2 dogs and 1 cat). Outside of spending good quality time with her 2 kids and significant other, she also loves to read, cook, and watch crime documentaries!
Tayler
Tayler is a dedicated optometric tech and all around “fix-it” person. She serves as the IT person for all of our many computers and equipment that allows Bennett Vision to provide the latest technology in eye-care. Tayler brings focus, reliability, and a passion for helping others see clearly—both literally and figuratively. She is a very proud parent of two beautiful girls and says being a parent has shaped who she is, teaching me patience, resilience, and the importance of leading by example. She strives every day to build a life they can be proud of. Whether at work or at home, Tayler values continued learning, responsibility, and creating a positive impact in the lives of those around me.
Hannah
Hannah is our very dedicated Optometric tech. She is often the person that will pre-test you before you see the doctor. She guides you through all of the machines and questions so that Dr. Bennett has the information she needs to help you feel and see better. Hannah is known for building connections with patients right away so they feel comfortable and cared for right from the start. Outside of work, Hannah enjoys spending time with her two boys usually outdoors or at the ball fields.
Jody
Jody is the Optical Manager as well as the contact lens guru. She has been a dedicated employee at Bennett Vision since 2013. She is the expert at trouble shooting and problem solving. She loves helping patients find the best solutions for their vision needs. She is also known for helping start a patient’s car if they are stranded or checking on patients if she hasn’t heard from them in a while. She has been happily married for 13 years and is a proud mother of five daughters. Family is at the heart of everything she does, and she cherishes her role as “Nana” to her 13 beautiful grandchildren.
Madison
Madison is Dr. Bennett’s sidekick (Aka the scribe). Her role is to compile every important medical detail, from eye pressure readings to the smallest retinal freckle, and turn it into a perfect medical chart to keep a record of your visit. She allows the doctor to listen and focus more on providing you with the best care possible. Outside of work Madison enjoys spending free time with family, friends, and fur babies. Whether it’s a relaxing day fishing with her fiancé or a fun shopping trip with her mom, she truly enjoys the value quality time and good company!
Heather
Heather is the office manager and has been with our practice since 2000. She has filled every role in the office during that time and is knowledgeable about every aspect of the practice. Heather is like our human internet. If she doesn’t have the answer to a question, she will know where to find it. She welcomes change and loves to try new product lines, new techniques and new ways of solving problems. Heather lives in Dewey with her husband and has 4 adult sons and 9 grandchildren. When not at the office, Heather likes to go to the lake or attend one of her grandchildren’s many activities.
The Staff
The Staff at Bennett Vision is experienced, professional, and customer service oriented. Most of the staff members are certified as optometric assistants and have worked in the optometric industry for many years. They are committed to finding just the right fit for every patient, and are experts in frame adjustments, contact lens fitting, and insurance coverage.
